Former NFL football player’s missing girlfriend found dead | The player is the main suspect

Former San Francisco 49ers football player Kevin Ware was named the prime suspect months ago when he was arrested in connection to a possible homicide of his girlfriend.
Unfortunately, police discovered the body of his girlfriend dead. Taylor Christine Pomaski, 29, was last seen alive on April 25, 2021, at a party in the home where she lived with Ware in Spring, about 25 miles north of Houston. Witnesses say she and Ware engaged in a “violent fight” that night.
The body was found in a ditch on Dec. 10, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said. Today, the identity was confirmed.
Ware, 41, has been in Montgomery County jail since June 2021, on charges related to an incident the week before Pomaski’s disappearance in which he was allegedly driving 115 mph with drugs and loaded guns in his car. He made bail, but that was later revoked.
The US Marshalls detained Ware Jr. at a strip mall in Houston in June. Ware Jr. was on has been a person of interest, but been on the run. The case was turned over to homicide detectives back in May.
