Former NFL football player arrested in connection to a possible homicide of his missing girlfriend
Police have arrested and detained Kevin Ware Jr. the former San Francisco 49ers football player this week.
Ware Jr. played for the Washington Football Team and the San Francisco 49ers in his career. He played college football at the University of Washington. He was arrested earlier this year in connection to drug charges, but went on the run, according to reports.
According to police reports, his girlfriend Taylor Pomaski a 29-year-old female was reported missing by members of her family last month. The Sheriff’s office believes this could be foul play.
The US Marshalls detained Ware Jr. at a strip mall in Houston. Ware Jr. was on has been a person of interest, but been on the run. The case was turned over to homicide detectives back in May.
