Veteran NFL running back Adrian Peterson arrested for domestic violence after being removed from a plane at LAX airport

Super Bowl weekend did not go well for Adrian Peterson. A matter of fact he spent time in a jail cell over the weekend because he was arrested for domestic violence.

The former Vikings running back was arrested and booked for felony domestic violence at the LAX airport. Around 8:30 am, airport police received a call over a disturbance leaving LAX heading to Houston. The plane had to turn around because of a verbal and physical altercation between Adrian Peterson and his wife Ashley.

A rep for Adrian said:

“Earlier today Adrian and his wife Ashley had a verbal argument on a flight, and he was removed from the plane. This is a private misunderstanding between husband and wife and we anticipate it will all be resolved shortly.”

I wonder if Adrian was able to catch the Super Bowl in jail?
