Nelson Brown the big back Free Agent formerly of Cal (PA) recently joined NFL Draft Diamonds writer Justin Berendzen for this exclusive interview.

Hello, I am @jrberendzen on Twitter and this is one of my free agent interviews where I ask very deserving free agents questions about the players themselves and about what a team would get in these players. All of these players should get picked up by NFL, CFL, and XFL teams and get a shot at being a career football player. 1.What skill do you have that you think translates into the NFL well?

The skill I have best that all my college coaches told me was pass blocking I never gave up a sack and take pride in protecting the quarterback so my coach and quarterback can trust me.

2.If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Adrian Peterson because he’s a guy I grew up watching, we play the same position, and also if I make it to play I’ll be in the league with him. I also love his story one of the most inspirational players ever.

3.What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

Being able to trust your teammates.

4.What sets you apart from other running backs?

Being able to run over you, juke you, or run by you.

5.What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

I’m a leader when I say a leader I bring 110% energy to the field that make other players wanna give everything they got. I can be the youngest on the field or the oldest I’m always going lead by talent and hard work.

6.What is a moment in your football career that improved you as a football player?

Right now playing in the CIF league because couldn’t do any of my NFL workouts when I graduated in December 2019 going into 2020. I play for the Salina Liberty and it really improved my game because I do everything from RB, WR, Kick off, and KR.

7.What is your favorite workout?

My favorite work is to bench and I love to run 110s basically I just love to workout period I always had that mindset if I’m not working out somebody is I refuse to be outworked.

8.What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I feel as football is the best sport out there also you can’t win a football game with just 1 person you need all 11 players that’s on the field and I love team sports and if you see me in public you can tell I’m a football player I feel like all I need is a shot and a team will love me.

9.What has been your biggest challenge in life?

My biggest challenge in life is always being underrated. I played in a small city and both colleges I played in was division 2. My numbers speak for themselves but I feel like I’m always under the radar and underrated.

10.What would a team get in a player like you?

They would get everything out of me and what I mean by everything is 110% effort on the field, weight room, and meetings. I’m willing to play any position, special teams whatever it will take to help my team win.

11.What is your mindset when you are on the football field?

My mindset is my daughter and my mother. I play this game so she will never have to work again and for my daughter to financially successful.

12.What are your favorite moments from your football life?

My favorite moments in my football life are scoring the ball by running, catching, and returning. Feels great to be able to show people how versatile I am. Also great moments in my life is just being able to the game I love in front my family and friends.
