Semifinals week. It is now when the collar starts to get a little tight for some folks. Don’t get too cute. Rely on the guys that got you there. 3 Weekly Sleepers

  1. Jeff Wilson/ RB/ San Francisco 49ers: Wilson has almost been in an equal 50/50 split with Raheem Mostert the last couple of games and now with Mostert battling injury again it could be a Jeff Wilson week for the 49ers. Wilson gets a poor Dallas defense which should lead to plenty of opportunities against a defense yielding 133 yards per game to RBs.
  2. Lynn Bowden/ WR, RB/ Miami Dolphins: He came on strong last week playing more than 75% of his snaps in the slot. He was the top Miami receiver on the day with 9 targets, 7 catches and 82 yards. Bowden added 2 carries as well. This week Miami faces New England who was just gashed by Cam Akers. With all the injuries at WR and RB Bowden should factor heavily into the offensive plans.
  3. Damien Harris/ RB/ New England Patriots: Harris has 11 touches in all but 1 game that he has played in this season. Miami has been average against the run this season and Harris could be called upon this week. New England relied upon the run game when they met earlier this season as the Patriots beat the Dolphins Week 1. More of the RB workload has fallen on Harris since Rex Burkhead went down with an injury.

3 Weekly Fades

  1. Cam Newton/ QB/ New England Patriots: It is over for the Patriots. They just aren’t very good offensively and have relied on the run. As a passer Newton has not looked good this season. The Dolphins Defense continues to show and are the only team to force a turnover in every game this season. They could turn to another QB at any moment.
  2. Tyler Boyd/ WR/ Cincinnati Bengals: The offense is a mess. They benched Gio Bernard basically after he fumbled early in the game having it turn into a heavy dosage of Trayveon Williams. Brandon Allen is still starting which means the offense won’t light it up. And on top of that, they face Pittsburgh. I said all of that to say Cincinnati is not playing competitive football and they should be ignored for fantasy purposes.
  3. CeeDee Lamb/ WR/ Dallas Cowboys: He has 46 scoreless yards in back-to-back games. Lamb is going to be a superstar in the NFL but the loss of Dak Prescott has just stunted his growth this season. Also, the 49ers only allow a little over 210 passing yards per game. He is also coming off a 2 target game in Week 14.
