Fantasy Duds: NFL players that did not show up to play in Fantasy for Week 16
We thought after week 16 of the National Football League it would be important to breakdown the top players at each position who forgot to show up in Fantasy Football. There were some insane football games in week 16 some that went down to the and some that had teams winning we did not expect. Let’s break down the top 5 fantasy duds of week 16.
Quarterback
Dwayne Haskins, Washington Football Team – The Washington football team is so close to taking the NFC East over, and they were hoping their former first round pick was going to help them win, but man did he choke. Haskins looked horrible going 14-28 for 154 yards and throwing 2 interceptions.
Running Back
Miles Sanders, Philadelphia Eagles – The Eagles running back had a huge game last week and this week he came out and laid an egg against the Cowboys. He finished with 15 carries for 57 yards. Yes, he scored a touchdown, but I was hoping for more, especially with playoff implications on the line.
Wide Receiver
Brandon Aiyuk, San Francisco 49ers – 49ers wide out Brandon Aiyuk had just one catch this week. I played him in the fantasy football Championship game and he landed me a lousy 12 points. He finished with 1 receptions for 15 yards. Yuck
Tight End
Mike Gesicki, Miami Dolphins – I have to put him on the list, because if it was not for Fitzpatrick, Gesicki would have finished with 2 receptions and like 10 yards. He did end up with 4 receptions for 50 yards, but the Dolphins need to find him more often.
Defense
Detroit Lions – The only thing the Lions had right was a punt return. They let Tom Brady and Blaine Gabbert throw all over their defense. The Lions need to fire everyone, they are horrible.
