Falcons WR Julio Jones could end up being a game-time decision week 12
The Atlanta Falcons lost their star wide receiver this past week early after he reaggravated his hamstring. His coach Raheem Morris said yesterday, that Jones will likely be a game-time decision.
This is not good news for the Falcons. He did not return to the game after suffering the injury early against the Saints. He did in fact return to the game late to make a catch, but then limped off the field and stayed out the rest of the game.
If I was a betting man, I would have to say the Falcons keep Jones on the sidelines for week 12. They will have to go with Russell Gage and Calvin Ridley at this point. The Falcons should not push their star wide receiver when they are not in any race.
If Jones cannot go, Olamide Zaccheaus and Russell Gage could be great waiver wire pick-ups.
