Three free agents the Philadelphia Eagles, should consider

Taylor Gabriel Eagles
Eagles should get on the phone and call former Bears wide receiver Taylor Gabriel. The speedy wide out would be a great addition to the Eagles offense.

You don’t have to be an expert, to see the god-awful, football happening in Philadelphia. Head coach Doug Pederson, and company, have fallen to a lackluster 0-2-1 record, after the tie with the Cincinnati Bengals. Despite the horrible start, the birds’ are a simple half game back, in the horrible NFC East, and still field a roster of talent. Led by franchise QB Carson Wentz, and up and coming star RB Miles Sanders, along with a fierce defensive line, not all is bad in Philadelphia. While the team house some talented players, they have been hit by the serious injury bug, and could really use some reinforcements. These are three players that Howie Roseman, should get on the phone with ASAP!

1) CB Prince Amukamara

Once the New York Giants, best corner, the veteran CB, now sits at home waiting for a call. This one really has me scratching my head. Talk about talented, as Prince is capable of helping in just about any scheme. Both zone and man, he would be an immediate upgrade, across from Pro-Bowler, CB Darius Slay. Even with all the additions in the off-season, the birds field a weak outside corner list. Adding Amukamara, would truly help on defense, both in talent, and in a leadership presence.

2) WR Taylor Gabriel

Another year of wide-out issues in Philly. Injury after injury has this team scrounging for talent. Gabriel, could be a real help in this birds offense. Although on the smaller size, Gabriel, has good hands, and the ability to score from anywhere on the field. At this point I could care less about size, and am more worried about healthy bodies. Gabriel happens to be healthy and very talented, and could give the Eagles a real boost.

3) LB Nigel Bradham

Now just hear me out. The Eagles have a talented front, and an ok back end, but the second level leaves a ton to be desired, putting it nicely. I understand that Bradham, wasn’t brought back this year for a reason, but honestly, it was a misstep by the front office. Thinking they had the right guys in the building, and honestly it could turn around. But for now, they need leadership, and someone who can dissect a play and really be a playmaker. Their wasn’t a better option out here, and Bradham knows the defense, so it would take nothing to catch back up. Adding Bradham, would be an immediate upgrade, and cheap.

Give me your thoughts Eagles fans, i would love to hear your thoughts on these three, along with who you think would be a good fit? @JonM_Salter
