Fantasy Duds: Week 1 NFL players that did not show up to play

We thought after week 1 of the National Football League it would be important to breakdown the top players at each position who forgot to show up in Fantasy Football. There were some insane football games in week 1, some that went down to the and some that had teams winning we did not expect. Let’s break down the top 5 fantasy duds of week 1.
Quarterback
Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB, Miami Dolphins – Fitzmagic was not magic at all yesterday. He finished the game 20-30 for 191 yards and three interceptions. The Patriots defense was all over him and he looked horrible. If he was your starting quarterback in Fantasy you may want to add Tua his time will be coming soon, if Fitz keeps playing like that.
Running Back
Joe Mixon, RB, Cincinnati Bengals – Mixon was my fantasy running back this week and man was he suspect. He fumbled the ball once which crushed me and he would end up finishing the game with 19 attempts for 69 yards. He did not find pay dirt and did not look very impressive against the Chargers.
Wide Receiver
Odell Beckham Jr., WR, Cleveland Browns – So much for Odell Beckham Jr, being an impact player. He looked pitiful yesterday. He finished the game with 3 receptions for 22 yards. Beckham Jr. you know had to be in his feelings. I am sure the Ravens players were picking on him about getting pooped on! The only one who got pooped on yesterday was the Fantasy owners who started OBJ.
Tight End
Rob Gronkowski, TE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Gronk where were you? I know you have not played football in a year plus, but 2 receptions for 11 yards? The Buccaneers might have overpaid for Gronk. Tom Brady just does not have the arm he once did. He looked bad and Gronk looked worse.
Defense
Philadelphia Eagles – This was sad, the Eagles finished with three sacks, but they let the Washington Football Team hang around. Dwayne Haskins in his second year led his team to a fourth quarter comeback, and the Eagles looked depleted. They need to step it up if they want to compete in the NFC East. Thankfully the Cowboys lost last night!
