Fantasy Duds: Week 2 NFL players that did not show up to play

We thought after week 2 of the National Football League it would be important to breakdown the top players at each position who forgot to show up in Fantasy Football. There were some insane football games in week 2, some that went down to the and some that had teams winning we did not expect. Let’s break down the top 5 fantasy duds of week 2.
Quarterback
Kirk Cousins, QB, Minnesota Vikings – Kirk Cousins looked beyond bad last night. He threw three interceptions and only had 113 yards passing. He was sacked three times as well. Cousins looked horrible. The sad thing is yesterday Stefon Diggs alone had more receiving yards than the entire Vikings team. Vikings looked bad.
Running Back
Todd Gurley, RB, Atlanta Falcons – The former UGA standout ran the ball 21 times yesterday against the Dallas Cowboys and he averaged a horrible 2.9 yards a run. He finished the game with 61 yards total on the ground. The Cowboys defense dominated the Falcons and they did not deserve to win.
Wide Receiver
Adam Thielen, WR, Minnesota Vikings – I have to put him on the list. He was my number 1 wide out in Fantasy Football and boy I need him to show up for me. He finished the game with 3 receptions for 31 yards. He was targeted 8 times though. The Vikings are in disarray right now.
Tight End
Rob Gronkowksi, TE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Gronk had one target and finished the game 0 for 0. He should have stayed retired. The Buccaneers have not been too impressive. If Leonard Fournette did not show up and show out yesterday the Bucs might have lost another game. Rob Gronkowski has been on our fantasy duds list twice in a row this season.
Defense
Buffalo Bills – Yep, I am throwing my own team under the bus. They were not good. Chan Gailey ate up the middle of the Bills defense. The Dolphins were actually leading the game to start the fourth quarter. Thankfully, Josh Allen was able to make some big plays to bail out the defense, because they were horrible. Ryan Fitzpatrick looked like a hero going over the middle of the field.
