Hello, I am @jrberendzen on Twitter and this is one of my free agent interviews where I ask very deserving free agents questions about the players themselves and about what a team would get in these players. All of these players should get picked up by NFL and CFL teams and get a shot at being a career football player. 1.What do you hope to accomplish if you make it into the NFL?

  • Making it to the NFL, I would hope to accomplish the goal of going down in history as one of the best and most passionate players to ever play the game. Breaking barriers winning defensive awards week by week and eventually leading my team to a super bowl. 

2.What is your nickname or if you don’t have a nickname what would you want your nickname to be?

  • Even though people have given me nicknames off of mispronouncing my last name alone, many people call me geech. 

3.What is your mindset when you are on the football field?

  • My mindset on the football field is a relentless mindset. I know that based on my training, discipline and willpower I have the ability to strategically outwork my opponent. 

4.What are your favorite moments of your football career?

  • My favorite moments of my football career take me back to my first touchdown catch in a little league football game, to a pick 6 in high school, to having a forced fumble and beating auburn in the outback bowl. 

5.If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

  • I probably would pick Richard Sherman because of his understanding and analytical perception of the game. I’d like to learn his strategy of study and adopt it in order to have a mental edge. 

6.What is your favorite book?

  • My favorite book would probably be the Bible. 

7.What do you do for fun?

  • For fun I usually listen to music, watch movies, go fishing, or take a road trip somewhere 

8.What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

  • I’ve watched football for as long as I could remember, watching all of the players I grew up on make extraordinary plays on television, I wanted to have the same opportunity. 

9.If you could live anywhere in the world where and why?

  • If I could live anywhere in the world, I would probably pick Santorini Greece. I’d love to live there because it’s seaside, the scenery is beautiful, the architecture is interesting and it looks to be more relaxing than any other town I’ve ever seen. 

10.What would a team get in a player like you?

  • In a player like me, a team would get someone who takes pride in everything that he does, somebody who loves the game of football, as well as a player that is extremely disciplined and holds himself accountable for his actions on and off the field.

11.If you were an animal which animal would you be and why?

  • If I was an animal I’d be a saber tooth tiger, they weren’t only ferocious like regular tigers but had an extra edge to them making them top notch predators. 

12.If your life was a tv show what would you call it and why?

  • If my life was a TV show I’d name it the Life and Times of WDIII. A simple name for the show, however the show would be anything but simple, crazy and in-explainable things would occur to keep the viewer occupied.
