Draft Diamonds Free Agent Interview: Pat Porter, Defensive Back

Hello, I am @jrberendzen on Twitter and this is one of my free agent interviews where I ask very deserving free agents questions about the players themselves and about what a team would get in these players. All of these players should get picked up by NFL and CFL teams and get a shot at being a career football player. So I hope you all read this interview with Pat Porter. 1.If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

• Deion Sanders, he’s one player who has always inspired me in this game of football and life. It would be great just to sit and listen to all the knowledge he has about football and life also.

2.What is your favorite dinner? 

• My favorite dinner I would say is steak and potatoes. You cannot go wrong with that ever.

3.What is your mindset when you are on the football field?

• My mindset on the field is to dominate each possession and play the next play.

4.If you were on a game show and won 100 thousand dollars what would you do with it? 

• I probably would save half more than likely and invest what I have left probably in real estate.

5.What is your nickname or if you don’t have a nickname make up a nickname for yourself? 

• Boojack or Money

6. If you were on an island and could only have three things which three things would you have?

• That’s hard one but I would probably take Bible, rifle, and ammo. 

7.What is your favorite movie? 

• My favorite movie is Paid in Full.

8.What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

• I was just always into sports so I tried out for a pop warner team and the rest was history.

9.What is your favorite TV show? 

• My favorite TV show is the Jamie Foxx show.

10.What would a team get in a player like you? 

• For the most part a team would get an player ready to come in help in anyway possible. Very determined and dependable on and off the field.

11.If you could live anywhere in the world where and why?

• I would say either Brazil or Puerto Rico. I love the scenery and the people are very nice from my experiences.

12. If you were an animal which animal would you be and why? 

• I would probably be an owl, being that owls are wise and  great at seeing the bigger picture.
