Former Eagles Hall of Famer Timmy Brown has passed away

Timmy Brown was a hell of a football player but will likely be most remembered for his acting on M.A.S.H.

Timothy Brown, 82, a former NFL star and actor on the comedy/drama “M*A*S*H,” died last Saturday, April 4, in Southern California.

Brown had played NFL football with the Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Colts. And he went on to become an NFL Champion and an Eagles Hall of Famer.

Timothy Brown was inducted into the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame in 2015.

Brown grew up an orphan in Knightstown, Indiana, and would eventually turn into quite the football star as well as actor. He appeared in more than 20 movies and TV shows during his acting career.

Brown finished his NFL career playing in 108 games, starting 67 of them. He would rush for 3,862 yards and 31 touchdowns over 9 years. He was a solid pass catcher as well hauling in 235 receptions for 3,399 yards and scoring 26 times. Rest in Peace Timmy!
