45 XFL players that NFL teams should sign
Well as you all know by now the XFL season has been canceled and it won’t be back till next year. So here’s who I think end up on NFL teams. After exit physicals NFL teams can sign XFL players.
QB PJ Walker Houston Roughnecks –
This guy was a beast definitely going to have NFL teams go after him. He has the ability to be a NFL quarterback. And there will be alot of interest in him.
QB Josh Johnson LA Wildcats-
Another QB that NFL teams should be very interested in. He had some awesome ability to find receivers. And he has NFL experience.
RB James Butler Houston Roughnecks-
Butler is like a James White clone. He can definitely catch passes and he’s a decent runner. And I think a NFL team can use him at least as a pass catcher on 3rd downs.
RB Matt Jones Saint Louis Battlehawks-
Could be the most complete back. He has really good ability to run if the oline play is there. And he is also a really good pass catcher.
RB Jacques Patrick Tampa Bay Vipers-
Patrick is a really good runner. And he’s physical which I think could be appealing to teams. And he is ok as a pass catcher.
RB Martez Carter LA Wildcats
I think Carter can fit in as a pass catcher. He also has ability to run if he has a good oline in front of him.
WR Cam Phillips Houston Roughnecks-
Phillips was so good for the Roughnecks only had 1 bad game. He caught almost everything Walker threw at him. I think that NFL teams will go after a guy like Phillips.
WR Dan Williams Tampa Bay Vipers-
Dan Williams was very reliable. I think that he will definitely have interest from NFL teams.
WR Jordan Smallwood/WR Nelson Spruce/WR Tre McBride LA Wildcats
All three of these guys were awesome and they all will get interest if healthy(mainly talking about Spruce). They proved that they can be successful at the next level.
TE Donald Parham Dallas Renegades
This guy definitely proved he can be a top 5 Te in the NFL. I think that there’s multiple teams that would be interested in Parham.
OL Kirk Barron Seattle Dragons
I think that Barron played really well and should have interest from NFL teams. He was dominant on the Dragons oline.
OL Brian Folkerts Saint Louis Battlehawks
I think Folkerts played really well. He should have nfl teams go after him.
Every Tampa Bay Vipers Starting Offensive lineman
The Vipers oline was really good throughout the season and I think that they all made good holes and should all have interest from nfl teams.
DL Cavon Walker New York Guardians
Cavon was the one of the best Defensive lineman in the XFL and I expect teams to really go after him. If there’s a team that needs pass rush go get Cavon.
DL Corey Crawford Houston Roughnecks
I think Crawford played really well and NFL teams are going to want him. As a DT he really stuffed the run and got to the quarterback.
DL Devin Taylor LA Wildcats
Taylor was a beast and I think that there’s NFL teams that want this guy. He was one of the better DE’s in the XFL.
LB Demarquis Gates/LB Beniquez Brown/LB Latroy Lewis/LB Edmond Robinson Houston Roughnecks
These guys were all awesome. They all shined and they all proved to NFL teams that they should get them. They all did different things that appeal to NFL teams.
LB Steven Johnson Seattle Dragons
This guy was a monster. If there’s a nfl team that needs a linebacker Steven Johnson is the guy he is a tackling machine.
LB Terrance Garvin Saint Louis Battlehawks
This is another guy that NFL teams should sign. Garvin is also a tackling machine and has ability to get to the quarterback.
LB William Smith LA Wildcats
Smith was a really good tackler too. I really hope a NFL team signs him. Smith played really well.
LB/S Dexter McCoil Saint Louis Battlehawks
McCoil does everything. He can tackle really well. He can rush the quarterback and he can guard receivers.
LB Jameer Thurman DC Defenders
Thurman was awesome. He was a really good tackler that I think NFL teams should go after.
LB Tegray Scales Dallas Renegades
I think that Tegray was awesome. And he showed enough that NFL teams should get him.
CB Jeremy Clark Seattle Dragons
I think Clark was pretty good. And I think NFL teams will like this guy.
CB Harlan Miller LA Wildcats
I think Harlan Miller was awesome. I feel like he guarded WRs good. And was a very underrated yet very good cornerback.
CB Jamar Summers New York Guardians
Summers was one of the best DBs in the XFL. And he was in the AAF and didn’t really get a good shot in the NFL. I think that this time he gets more attention.
CB Channing Stribling Seattle Dragons
This is another guy who played really well who also was in the AAF. And Stribling didn’t sign with anyone after the AAF folded I think that he too gets more NFL teams attention.
CB Tarvarus McFadden Tampa Bay Vipers
McFadden was really good at getting INTs and I think NFL teams will go after him.
CB Josh Hawkins Dallas Renegades-
Hawkins was a beast for the Renegades and I think will be pursued by NFL teams.
CB Deatrick Nichols Houston Roughnecks
Nichols was a beast in the Roughnecks secondary. NFL teams would be crazy not to get him.
S Tyree Kinnel DC Defenders
Kinnel played really well. And I think he was really underrated too. Kinnel was the driving force behind the Defenders secondary.
S Godwin Igwebuike Seattle Dragons
Godwin played really good in Seattle. I think that he showed NFL teams that he can be a NFL player.
S Will Hill Saint Louis Battlehawks
Hill was a beast for the Battlehawks. He had 2 game deciding Ints. NFL teams are going to really want him.
S Cody Brown Houston Roughnecks
Cody Brown was awesome. He was in the AAF signed with the Jaguars but got injured before he could show his abilities to stay. I think Brown definitely gets another chance.
K Matthew McCrane New York Guardians
McCrane was very good. And I think that NFL teams need to take a look at him.
K Taylor Russolino Saint Louis Battlehawks
Russolino was a very solid kicker too. Also appealing to NFL teams.
These are just the guys who I think have good shots at sticking on an NFL 53 man roster. There will be others signed. And I hope alot of guys get signed. And I’m not even saying that this will include everyone that makes 53 man NFL rosters. Just the guys that will get the best opportunities and best chances.
