2020 XFL Power Rankings after Week 2: Baseball Style!
Home Run (#1)-
Houston Roughnecks (2-0)
I’m putting the Roughnecks as my Home Run (also #1) because Phillip “PJ” Walker is insanely good. He escaped pressure and got stuff done numerous times and the Roughnecks defense is good too.
Triple (#2)
DC Defenders (2-0)
Defenders defense is so good. I’m wondering if they will be able to stop pass rush getting to Cardale Jones and can Cardale escape but otherwise they are a pretty complete team.
Double (#3)
St.Louis Battlehawks (1-1)
The Battlehawks are solid defensively. All questions go towards Jordan Ta’amu can he throw better showed more against Houston but can’t make the mistakes he made either.
Single (#4)
Dallas Renegades (1-1)
Landry Jones has to play better but the Run game finally showed up and that’s why the Renegades are here Artis-Payne was solid as a runner against the Wildcats. And the Renegades D is decent.
Flyout (#5)
Seattle Dragons (1-1)
Brandon Silvers has to play better he missed Keenan Reynolds numerous times when Reynolds was wide open. Seattle has a solid defense though. Run game is okay but not great.
Ground Out (#6)
New York Guardians (1-1)
I’m putting the Guardians here because I feel like if there oline is healthy the QB is successful and run game too. They were not healthy against the Defenders and the Defenders got to them. Defense was okay but Guardians need a better pass rush.
Pop out (#7)
LA Wildcats (0-2)
The Wildcats are a ok passing team. Run game has not been good though. With a decent team defense.
Strike out (#8)
Tampa Bay Vipers (0-2)
Good running team but awful pass wise. They also have a decent defense. But gotta figure out the QB problem. Honestly, I think it is so close between the Wildcats and Vipers.
