XFL Receivers/TE by team rankings heading into Week 2
1. DC Defenders
I’m putting the Defenders #1 because they have Eli Rogers and Rashad Ross who both could be number 1 Wide recievers in the XFL. They also both have big play ability and could go off any time. Also Khari Lee has some good ability at TE.
2. Houston Roughnecks
Sammie Coates has big play ability and the Roughnecks have excellent other options in Cam Phillips, Khalil Lewis and Sam Mobley are all awesome options. So if Sammie Coates gets covered. The Roughnecks have multiple options that can catch balls.
3. NY Guardians
Mekale McKay makes big plays and the Guardians also have good options in Joe Horn and Teo Redding. Horn has the bloodlines as his dad was a reciever with the Saints. And at TE Jake Powell is very good.
4. St.Louis Battlehawks
De’Mornay Pierson El , Keith Mumphery, Alonzo Russell and L’Damian Washington make up a decent set of 4 wide receivers. Te is a little lacking with Cole Hunt getting injured but the Battlehawks still have Marcus Lucas and the more Wes Saxton practicing for them I think the more involved and dangerous he is.
5. Dallas Renegades
The Renegades have Jeff Badet, Jazz Ferguson and Flynn Nagel as the top Wes although they all had down games but I think they might bounce back. TE Donald Parham was impressive in last week’s game.
6. Tampa Bay Vipers
Daniel Williams was awesome for the Vipers last week and they have Reece Horn by the way whoever starts at QB needs to find Reece more. And then at TE they have Nick Truesdell who made the tough catches last week.
7. Seattle Dragons
I’m putting the Dragons here because Austin Proehl was awesome at wr the rest well not so much Dontez Byrd had his moments, Keenan Reynolds had moments too but afterav Proehl they had subpar play at WR. At TE Connor Hamlett and Evan Rodriguez had ok games I think that the dragons need to try passing to Tes a little more.
8. LA Wildcats
They get McBride back but this group was ugly it was the Nelson Spruce show. Smallwood was average rest was bad. Also the Wildcats need to find Te Brandon Barnes more.
