Meet XFL Prospect: Tre Watson, LB, Dallas Renegades
Tre Watson of the Dallas Renegades has been ballin in the XFL this year, and recently the former Maryland linebacker sat down with NFL Draft Diamonds writer Justin Berendzen for this amazing interview. 1. What do you want Renegades fans to think of you?
Honestly I just want them to remember me as someone who helped establish this team and league. As the season goes, I hope to see my role expand and help this team reach the championship game because at the end of the day people remember winners.
2. What is your favorite dessert?
I’ve got a lot of favorites but probably red velvet cheesecake.
3. What is your favorite XFL rule?
I would’ve said that they’re calling less flags on clean hits but that wasn’t the case this week so I’ll go with the double passes.
4. What is your ultimate goal for this season and beyond?
Prove that I belong in pro football. That I can compete with the best and that’s all that matters.
5. What is your favorite movie?
White chicks. Always and forever.
6. If you were on an island which 3 things would you want and why?
Machete/knife to cut things and for hunting and defense. One of those filtered water bottles that they use for country’s where clean water is hard to find. And a Blanket for protection lol.
7. What is your dream car?
That’s tough because there’s so many options. A Bugatti tho.
8. If you could live anywhere in the world where and why?
Bora Bora in one of those huts on the water. Just cus my girlfriend and I would be at our ultimate level of peace there.
9. What is your favorite snack?
PB&J
10. Who is your favorite musical artist?
Drake
11. Who is your most interesting teammate and why?
Antoine Brooks at Maryland. Just the most true to himself and fun to be around guy that I’ve ever played with.
12. If you were an animal which animal would you be and why?
I’m a Que so it’s only right that I’d be a dog. Pitbull type because it’s just how I am.
