What players dominated week 2 of the XFL? XFL Top Performers Week 2

QB
Cardale Jones DC Defenders – Cardale Jones was almost perfect and showed he should be in the NFL. Jones had 276 pass yards and 2 TDs. He also showed his rushing ability on a 14 yard run. He made 1 mistake that ended up being a int the only bad play for the Defenders offense. NFL teams should snap Cardale up.
Phillip”PJ” Walker Houston Roughnecks – PJ had 170 yards and 3 TDs plus 27 Rushing yards. He was awesome escaping from pressure from the Battlehawks and rarely got sacked. The NFL needs to get this guy also showing he can get out of pressure and throw. PJ and Cardale are the QBs to watch and MVP leaders.
RB
Jacques Patrick Tampa Bay Vipers – Jacques Patrick had 79 rush yards and 1 catch for 18 yards. He is a big back and had a good showing against the Dragons. He was probably the lone bright spot for the Vipers on offense. Patrick should get some interest from NFL teams if he keeps playing like he did week 2.
Cameron Artis-Payne Dallas Renegades – Cameron had 99 rush yards and 2 TDs along with 5 catches for 32 yards. He was not very effective last week. Artis-Payne was a total beast against the Wildcats and came up clutch.
WR
Rashad Ross and DeAndre Thompkins DC Defenders – These 2 guys were awesome out there against the Guardians. Ross had 95 yards and was very good. Thompkins had 92 yards and a TD. These 2 guys were almost unstoppable and Thompkins just came back from injury had a drop or 2 but him and Ross were awesome and idk how teams can stop these guys along with Eli Rogers.
Keenan Reynolds Seattle Dragons – Reynolds showed his stuff and if Silvers could have found him he would have a even bigger game. Reynolds had 87 yards and 1 TD. Reynolds was beating DBs all day.
Nelson Spruce LA Wildcats – Once again Nelson Spruce finds his way onto here. He had 89 yards and 2 TDs and was awesome. Spruce has some magic at the WR spot.
De’Mornay Pierson El and L’Damian Washington St Louis Battlehawks – Pierson El had 50 yards and a TD. Washington had 77 yards and a TD. They played well and finally Ta’amu got balls to them (although he threw 2 ints). Look for both these guys to do even better going forward.
Cam Phillips Houston Roughnecks – Cam is clearly PJ Walker’s favorite target. Cam had 63 yards and 3 TDs and played awesome. I think Cam Phillips shows he should be in NFL catching everything that goes near him.
TE
Donald Parham Dallas Renegades – Parham was impressive against the Wildcats. Parham had 76 yards and 1 TD. Any NFL teams that want a TE get this guy because he is a beast. Also the Renegades best target.
Offensive Line
Defenders offensive line – These guys were awesome and the Guardians rarely got to Cardale Jones.
DL
Jay Bromley and Anthony Johnson DC Defenders – These guys were Monsters. Jay Bromley had 3 tackles, 1 assist and 1 sack. Anthony Johnson who was just acquired played very well, and considering he had just gotten to the Defenders with no practice time these stats really stand out. Johnson had 3 tackles and 1 1/2 sacks. These Defensive Linemen plus Qualls who was from last week make up a scary problem for offensive lines.
Nikita Whitlock Tampa Bay Vipers – This guy was a beast for the Vipers. Whitlock had 6 tackles and 4 assists. I think Whitlock was tough for the Vipers in a losing effort and one player to watch going forward.
Marcel Frazier Seattle Dragons – Frazier had 3 tackles, 2 assists and a pick 6. Now the pick 6 was short but anytime a defensive lineman is able to catch the ball it’s impressive. I think Frazier will be a beast going forward.
Gimel President and Andrew Ankrah St.Louis Battlehawks – These guys can get past offensive linemen well. President had 4 tackles and 2 assists. Ankrah had 3 tackles ,1 assist and 1 sack. These guys are going to get after more QBs going forward. Watch out offensive lines.
LB
D’Juan Hines New York Guardians – Hines had 4 tackles and 3 assists and the only reason he’s on here 1 interception. That interception shows that Hines is a decent linebacker to watch and was the only bright spot for the Guardians.
Steven Johnson Seattle Dragons – If there was a player that I missed last week it was was Steven Johnson. But I made sure he got in this week. Steven Johnson was solid against the Vipers with 10 tackles and 5 assists. Johnson has been a solid LB and a player NFL teams should have a eye on him.
Will Smith LA Wildcats – Smith had 6 tackles, 4 assists and 1 int. This guy will be one to watch for the Wildcats defense going forward. I think he’s stepped up after the Roughnecks totally pummeled the Wildcats d week 1.
DB
Jeremy Clark and Steve Williams Seattle Dragons – These 2 guys were awesome for the Dragons. Clark had 3 tackles, 1 assist and 1 interception and guarded Daniel Williams very well. Steve Williams was also very good had 7 tackles, 3 assists and 1 1/2 sacks. These 2 guys should both get interest from NFL teams and both had key moments in a Dragons win.
Harlan Miller LA Wildcats – Harlan has been a do not throw anywhere near him guy. He had 1 tackle and a int. This guy has been awesome after 2 weeks I almost put him in last week but then he got injured because he’s hard to beat he’s a shutdown CB in the XFL and NFL need to get this guy.
Cody Brown and Jeremiah Johnson Houston Roughnecks – Cody Brown was a beast and almost should have been put on last week but he had 7 tackles, 2 assists and 1 int and was awesome. Jeremiah had 4 tackles, 1 assist and 1 int. These guys are tough to throw against and should be looked at by NFL teams.
Kicker of the week 2:
Tyler Rausa DC Defenders – Rausa made 3 FGs from 36, 27 and 26 and didn’t miss a FG try.
