Meet XFL Prospect: Tegray Scales, LB, Dallas Renegades

Tegray Scales has officially made the Dallas Renegades roster, and the former hard hitting linebacker recently sat down with NFL Draft Diamonds writer Justin Berendzen for this amazing interview. With the XFL about to kick-off in early February, we wanted to start a segment to showcase some XFL prospects so the fans of the league can get some inside information on these prospects! 1. What can Renegades fans expect from you? 

They can expect a lot of plays being made! They can expect me toPlay every play like it’s my last!!

2. Favorite drink?

My favorite drink is definitely a strawberry shake!

3. Favorite XFL rule?

I like the KO/KOR rules. They say it favor the KOR side more and they expect big plays. But I disagree. I think lots of plays can be made on the KO side!

4. What is your goal for this season and beyond?

My overall goal is to continue to be thankful and understand how blessed I am to still be able to play the game I love

5. Dream Car?

I can’t wait until I’m able to get me a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk

6. Favorite dessert?

I love me some Banana pudding

7. If you could live anywhere in the world where and why?

I like Texas! I could see myself here in the future. Especially since it only take $30 to feel my gas tank!

8. Favorite musical artist?I’m a Kevin Gates consumer!

9. Favorite pregame meal?

Pasta with flank steak green beans mashed potatoes and a banana. Decent serving size!

10. If you were an animal which animal would you be and why?

Tough question! Favorite animal always been the big cats(tiger,lion, cheetah) but I think I’ll be an alligator. They are the dinosaurs of all the animals.

11. Favorite movie?

Frozen 1 and 2

12. Who do you think is going to be the toughest team to face for the Renegades?

Honestly I’m sure, all games will have its own challenges especially since we are building a game plan on each other from week 1 until we meet the team head on. So don’t know what to expect or what teams are capable of just yet.
