College Gridiron Showcase Week 10 Standouts and Studs
Stephen Calvert, QB, Liberty – Liberty moved up to the FBS and they have been ballin. Calvert looks like an NFL worthy quarterback and this past week he had himself a week in a huge win over UMASS. Calvert went 20-27 for 474 yards and four touchdowns.
Lucky Jackson, WR, Western Kentucky – The Lexington, Kentucky native is one of my favorite players in the FBS. He has big play making ability in his arsenal and he is fun to watch. Jackson is a big target who blew up this week hauling in 9 receptions for 194 yards and one touchdown.
James Proche, WR, SMU – Proche is a Dallas, Texas native, and the CGS game is played in Texas. Proche is having a huge year. He has 10 touchdowns and 841 yards on the season with 74 receptions. This past week against Memphis he had 13 receptions for 149 yards and one touchdown. He would be a great addition to the All Star Event.
Antoine Custer Jr., RB, Eastern Wahington – The Senior from Berkely, California is putting up numbers week in and week out. He had 13 carries for 139 yards and three touchdowns. Custer Jr. is only 5090 but let me tell you this kid is carrying the load for EWU. I love him as a prospect.
Kenji Bahar, QB, Monmouth – Bahar had a monster game. He is slept on and he is doing a tremendous job this year. He finished the game against Kennesaw State leading his team to 4-0 in the Big South. He finished the game with 20-27 for 332 yards and one passing touchdowns, but he also added 92 yards on the ground and a rushing touchdonw. Bahar is special, and he is playing at a high level right now.
