Maine loses a running back but adds an FBS transfer from Buffalo

Just last month Ramon Jefferson, Maine’s leading rusher left the program after pleading guilty to criminal mischief. The Black Bears did not wait long to find a replacement for Jefferson.
The team signed Emmanuel Reed a fifth year senior from the UB Bulls. Reed in 29 games ran for 1,244 yards and 10 touchdowns. Reed is a scat back who is a little over 5080 and weighs around 195 pounds.
The Black Bears will have six running backs on their roster and their head coach is not afraid to add more. The team happens to go through running backs like underwear. They lost three in the off-season. The addition of Reed is a huge boost for the Maine running attack and I would not be surprised to see him have a huge senior season.
