Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott will miss some time with a hamstring injury
Just when you think the Dallas Cowboys have suffered enough another injury pops up. Cowboys executive VP Stephen Jones told reporters on Wednesday that first-round RB Ezekiel Elliott will miss “some time” with a sore right hamstring, per Todd Archer.
This would be a huge blow to the Cowboys if it was something major. He played college football at Ohio State where he earned All-American honors in 2015. Elliott was drafted by the Cowboys fourth overall in the 2016 NFL draft.
The Cowboys do have Alfred Morris and Darren McFadden to spell the injured Elliott. I would expect the Cowboys to let the young man heal before giving him a heavy workload.
