Panthers coach says Kelvin Benjamin is in pretty good shape
Last year the Carolina Panthers made it to the Super Bowl without wide out Kelvin Benjamin. This year the young Florida State wide out is healthy and ready to go. His head coach Ron Rivera is excited to have him back and that the young pass catcher is in pretty darn good shape.
“It could be a good harbinger in terms of seeing Kelvin — I don’t want to say in top form — but pretty doggone good form,” Rivera said, via the Charlotte Observer. “He’s still got a ways to go in terms of getting in game shape. But it’s really good to see him moving around.”
Benjamin had an amazing rookie year, but had to sit out all of last year. Hopefully he can return to form, because if he does the Panthers will be that much more dangerous.
