Mike Vick says he wants to play in 2016 but only for a contender
While speaking to reporters at the HoopTee Celebrity Golf Classic in Charlotte earlier this week, Mike Vick was asked about playing in the NFL this year, and while he is very open to it, he does not just want to play for anybody.
“I’m going to continue to stay optimistic about my 2016 season and try to enjoy it,” Vick said, via Jonathan Jones of The Charlotte Observer. “I wouldn’t say that I would go to any of the 32 teams. At this point in my career I would love to play for a contender. If anything, you’ve just got to be willing to make a contribution. In the NFL, that’s what it’s all about.”
Vick wants to play for a contender and I honestly cannot blame him. I just do not know what team would take a chance on Vick at this point of his career.
