Panthers give Ryan Kalil a two year contract extension

The Carolina Panthers have signed five-time Pro Bowl center Ryan Kalil to a two-year contract extension through the 2018 season, the team announced Monday.

Kalil, who was set to be an unrestricted free agent next offseason, signed a deal worth $16.75 million, according to the Charlotte Observer. There’s $11 million in guaranteed money.
