Buccaneers have waived former UM running back Mike James
Rand Getlin of NFL Media is reporting that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have waived RB Mike James on Tuesday. The former Haines City, Florida running back that played college ball at Miami appeared in 11 games and ran for 37 yards on 19 carries (1.9 YPC) to go along with one reception for minus five yards back in 2014. Since then he was really just taking up space.
James, 24, is a former sixth round pick by the Buccaneers back in 2013. He’s in the third year of his four-year, $2,263,152 rookie contract that included a $103,152 signing bonus.
