Steelers have signed veteran center Doug Legursky; Place WR David Nelson on I/R
Today the Pittsburgh Steelers made a move to find a veteran center. Legursky has started 30 games in his career including 17 for the Steelers from 2009-2012. The team announced they signed veteran center Doug Legursky, and placed veteran Wide receiver David Nelson on injured-reserve to make room for Legursky.
Legursky, 29, was an undrafted free agent who broke into the league with the Steelers in 2008 and went from the practice squad to starting Super Bowl XLV due to a Pouncey injury. He was with the Bills in 2013 and the Chargers last year, where he started both games in which he appeared.
