Dan Connolly the former New England Patriots offensive guard/center really wanted to come back to the Patriots, but it sounds like that will not happen. He received an offer from another team, but is now leaning toward retirement according to Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston.
Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston reports that the Buccaneers previously made a “strong pitch” to free agent Dan Connolly, which included the opportunity to play alongside of his former teammate Logan Mankins.
