Don Shula has major praise for the Dolphins quarterback and coach
Don Shula is one of the best coaches in the history of the NFL, and the former Miami Dolphins head coach had great things to say when talking about Ryan Tannehill and the Dolphins new head coach Joe Philbin. The Miami Herald did an interview with he most winning-est coach in Dolphins history, and asked him if they can repeat history in Miami and his response was pretty interesting.
“Yeah, I don’t see why [not]. They look good. Defensively, they’re pretty good. And you’ve got to like [Ryan] Tannehill. He’s a good athlete playing quarterback. That shows up when he gets outside that pocket.”
“I don’t know why they can’t. I like everything that’s going on, especially Joe [Philbin], the way he has handled himself, carries himself. He’s got a good background. You can tell the players want to play for him and respect him.”
I do not know if he is a little pumped because the Phins are winning or if he is being dead serious, but I cannot think of any team in the NFL that will repeat a perfect season anytime soon.
