Vontae Davis is New York Jets primary target
Profootballtalk reports free agent Vontae Davis is expected to sign a contract on Tuesday, but “not with the Colts.” Well it did not take long to find out what team was hot on Vontae’s trail.
Tony Pauline reports “word amongst insiders” is the Jets are “going hard” after free agent CB Vontae Davis.
The Jets need a number one cornerback after losing Antonio Cromartie in free agency. Davis is a younger version, and can be a very solid starter in the NFL.
