First a Super Bowl win, then spring training, now Dancing with the Stars?

Russell Wilson has become quite the media icon in the past several weeks.  First he won the Super Bowl, then he will go to the Cactus League and participate with his teammates in Texas and now he has been invited to Dancing with the Stars.

The two-time Pro Bowl QB said he turned down a chance to chase after the mirror ball trophy after his rookie season, and had to turn them down for a second time today.

“I need to focus on my football career right now,” Wilson said. “I’m trying to do as much as I can in terms of winning football games for the Seattle Seahawks and our franchise. But I will do it as some point, for sure.”

Wilson, 25, said he’s a big fan of the competition show that pairs celebrities from all walks of life with dancing pros.

I can only imagine what is next for Wilson, the guy will probably be the spokesperson for a major telephone company next….
