Donald Penn will be a Oakland Raider
The Oakland Raiders are expected to sign free agent offensive tackle Donald Penn who was formerly of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
La Canfora reports the Redskins are still interested in the ex-Buc, but that the opportunity to play left tackle in Oakland is “very enticing.” Penn was still passable on the blindside in Tampa last season, but turns 31 next month, and has struggled with his weight, but will be a very serviceable. It will allow the Raiders to contend this year.
According to Albert Breer he is signing the deal.
Raiders agreed to terms with OT Donald Penn, formerly of the Bucs.
