Sorry EJ Manuel, Since 2007 no first round QB benched won their job back
This week the Buffalo Bills decided to bench second-year rookie EJ Manuel after a two after leading his team to a 2-2 record
This basically means of the Buffalo Bills gave up on the rookie quarterback. ESPN’s Mike Rodak did a little research to find that not one starting quarterback since 2007 that was drafted in the first round and was benched, ever got his job back.
Since 2007, no quarterback selected in the first round has recovered from a benching to again become a full-time NFL starter.
