Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?
I have gone a few times and spoke at the Juvenile hall in Alameda county showing them a positive African American role model.
What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?
Modern Philosophy
Where are you from?
Vista, California.
Who is your role model, and why?
My role model is my Mom because she is a great example of how to be a christian and never be a victim of your circumstances but be positive and overcome every obstacle.
Did you play any other sports growing up?
Basketball, Baseball, Track & Field.
Did you play any other positions in football?
WR, RB, QB, Corner, Nickel back.
At your position, what separates you from others?
Smart Know the whole defense and where the weakness is. Football instincts, great in space open field tackling.
When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?
Look for formation tendencies to see what plays they like in formations. look at WR splits and see what routes they run. look at backfield set to see if it gives away run and pass. look to see if the QB looks DB’s off. Look at WR stances to see if they tip off run and pass, Look at third down tendencies third and short, medium, and long find out their top 3 pass plays.
Who was the toughest player you ever faced?
In practice Keenan Allen, In a game, Robert Woods.
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
Charles Woodson, because he plays well in space could cover in the slot playing nickel and deep middle along with playing in the box.
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
Coming back from tearing my ACL, MCL, and meniscus my freshmen year. I was able to come back through tones of hard work and determination and support from family and friends, and most of all my faith trusting God.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
Listen to music and roll out on a foam roller and play catch.
What is your biggest strength?
Tackling in space and in the box.
What is your biggest weakness?
Height need another inch.
If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?
I’m a determined smart football player that is never satisfied and always striving to make myself and those around me better.
Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?
Eddie George, and the Titans.
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?
Martin Luther King Jr. Kobe Bryant, and Jerry Rice.
What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?
The first thing I will need is my own car
