Where do you play college football? 

Morehead State University

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field? 

The coolest thing I have done was be part of the Build A Bed program where we gave beds to people who needed them.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Where are you from? 

Cincinnati, OH

Who is your role model, and why? 

My dad is my role model because he helped me become the person I am today. He taught be everything I know.

Did you play any other sports growing up? 

I played basketball and ran track

Did you play any other positions in football? 

No

At your position, what separates you from others? 

What separates me is that I recognize coverages well and know my way around the defense. I’m a quick learner.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

I look for holes in the defense and look for mismatches whenever I’m being guarded in man coverage. I also look for ways I can help my teammates become successful.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced? 

Playing in the slot I really didn’t have a specific person I went up against so I would say that James Madison’s defense was my toughest challenge.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why? 

I would compare myself to Percy Harvin because I am a triple threat. I am dangerous at playing receiver whether I’m inside or outside. I am dangerous in the return game too.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it? 

My biggest obstacle in my life that I had to overcome was finding a college to go to. I had no offers coming out of high school. Morehead was a last minute opportunity. I seen how the coaches were and how they ran the offense and loved it.

Justin Cornwall 1Do you have any pre-game rituals? 

My pre-game ritual includes listening to music and visualizing the plays that I’m going to make, I just try to stay relaxed.

As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?

I feel like you would have to overcome proving to the people that watch you play that you can play against the big schools.

What is your biggest strength? 

My biggest strength is being coachable. I’m willing to learn anything to be successful.

What is your biggest weakness? 

My biggest weakness is my blocking but I have improved in that area over the years.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I would say that I’m very coachable and am willing to do anything to help their organization win and maintain a positive image. 

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up? 

Growing up my favorite team was the Washington Redskins. I loved watching Santana Moss play.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose? 

I would have dinner with Chris Tucker, Roy Jones Jr. and Jennifer Lopez.

With your first NFL paycheck what would you buy?

With my first check I would pay off some of my school loans.
