What is your position? 

Free safety/Strong Safety

Where do you play college football? 

Friends University

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field? 

Volunteered to speak with kids/students

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Astronomy was my hardest class

Where are you from? 

Bakersfield, California

Who is your role model, and why? 

Kobe Bryant is my role model because of his work ethic and sacrifices he has made in order to be one of the greatest of all time. My parents are also my other role models.

Did you play any other sports growing up? 

Played Basketball and Soccer

Did you play any other positions in football? 

Wide Receiver/Punt & Kick Return

At your position, what separates you from others? 

I can play sideline to sideline, ball skills are very good, sure handed, great open field tackler, and have a motor that never stops.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

When breaking down film I look for the other teams tendencies. I’ll also look at players individually to study them and see how they play and what they like to do. If possible I will try and see hand signals from the sideline to try and get a slight advantage.

Kyle Long

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why? 

John Lynch because he could play the run and the pass just as good.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it? 

One of my biggest obstacles I’ve had to overcome so far is dealing with the death of a very close friend who was basically family. Ted Agu passed away doing what he loved at Cal Berkley football practice. I overcame it by the help of family and close friends who were going through the same pain. Football was really helpful because when I’m out there on the field it’s all football.

Do you have any pre-game rituals? 

I walk to the end zone and lay down while listening to music and visualizing myself playing. When we come out for the game I run to the far end zone take a knee and pray.

As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?

As a small school player I feel that I need to overcome a lot of obstacles. I need to prove that I can compete with the higher levels even though I’m in a lower division.

What is your biggest strength? 

My ball skills I believe are my biggest strength

What is your biggest weakness? 

My biggest weakness is being to aggressive sometimes

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say? 

I am someone that you can count on to do my job, and to do it well. Consistency is what I will bring to the table as well as giving you my all and working hard. I eat live and breathe this game and nothing would be better than to play for you and your organization.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up? 

My favorite NFL team is the Dallas Cowboys

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose? 

Three people to have dinner with would be Ted Agu, Kobe Bryant, Jerry Jones

With your first NFL paycheck what would you buy

With my first NFL check I would buy my parents whatever they needed at the time. I want to give back to them.
