Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?
Volunteering with kid camps and pretty much anything that involves kids. The look on their face is priceless.
What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?
World Civilization
Where are you from?
Los Angeles, California
Who is your role model, and why?
My grandfather, his work ethic day in and day out showed me what hard work really was and he never complained.
Did you play any other sports growing up?
Basketball, Soccer, and Track
Did you play any other positions in football?
Yes, Running Back
At your position, what separates you from others?
Desire to get the ball and cause a turnover
When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?
Quarterbacks drop, how routes are being ran, and any tendencies.
Who was the toughest player you ever faced?
Charone Peake (Clemson WR)
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
Tim Jennings, he’s a guy with a stature similar to mine, but he also plays bigger than he is and the ball hawking skills to guard even bigger receivers.
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
Getting into trouble in the streets, it felt like an everyday thing where I come from, but school and sports allowed me to overcome and see the bigger picture which allowed me to be successful.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
Sit and visualize making that big play my team needs for about 15 minutes.
As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?
It’s always harder being a small school player because even when you produce and do good things it always gets overshadowed by the bigger FBS schools.
What is your biggest strength?
Open field tackling and ability to redirect.
What is your biggest weakness?
My height, but I think my leaping ability makes up for that.
If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?
I’m a hard working individual and I will do everything that I can to make you right about picking me up.
Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?
Marshall Faulk and the St. Louis Rams
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?
Kobe Bryant, Jay-z, Pete Carroll
