Cornerback/Return Specialist
Where do you play college football?
Southwest Minnesota State University
Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?
We go out and ask the elders in the community if we can help out around their house or rake leaves for them.
What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?
Anatomical Kinesiology
Where are you from?
Aurora, Colorado
Who is your role model, and why?
My father, he has always worked hard to provide for my family and I, giving me the gift of opportunity.
Did you play any other sports growing up?
I played baseball, basketball, ran track, as well as some lacrosse.
Did you play any other positions in football?
Quarterback until I couldn’t see over the offensive line
At your position, what separates you from others?
My man skills are as good as any out there, and when I get the chance to have zone eyes I can go make plays on the ball.
When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?
Any 3-step triggers I can get from the QB as well as how the receivers releases are and how they progress throughout the game, seeing if they are setting me up for a move later on.
Who was the toughest player you ever faced?
John Brown
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
Chris Harris Jr., his size is so similar as well as how aggressive he is towards the ball and how he isn’t afraid to be physical with receivers.
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
A big obstacle for me was leaving my family to chase my dream, I grew up fast when I moved up here and continue to keep my focus as to why I’m here.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
I try to relax with my family any chance I get.
As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?
The obvious is the amount of national publicity we do not receive, but also the amount of professional players that have come out of my school are few and far between so we don’t have the tradition of great athletes coming out of my school as well.
What is your biggest strength?
My ball skills
What is your biggest weakness?
My smaller size
If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?
I will work as hard as any man in the organization giving the best effort and performance I can for the team.
Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?
Champ Bailey is a guy I tried to emulate my game off of and my favorite team is the Rams as my whole family is originally form St. Louis.
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?
My Dad, Champ Bailey, and my Grandpa

My mom the home she’s always dreamed of
