How did you choose your school?

I was looking for a great balance of academics and athletics. Furman’s history of football along with academics won out.

Newberry, SC

Who is your role model, and why?

My dad, Bryant Keith McMorris

Yes, asked questions about versatility and competitive nature

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Yes, baseball, basketball, soccer, and track

Did you play any other positions in football?

Yes, RB, LB, WR, CB

At your position, what separates you from others?

My competitive instinct and desire to win.

marcus morrisWhen you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

I look for the strengths and weaknesses of both receivers and quarterback. Safeties are involved in a lot of run support so the running backs play is important to assess as well. Team tendencies in various situations.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Sammy Watkins is by far the toughest player I have faced, he is extremely explosive.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Earl Thomas, due to the emotion, playing style, and physicality.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

Overcoming my father’s death was the biggest obstacle, and my family’s bond is getting us through it.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I do not have pre-game rituals

What is your biggest strength?

Leadership qualities

What is your biggest weakness?

I am a perfectionist.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I am extremely versatile and find a way to get the job done no matter what. I like a challenge, and would love to assist you in taking your organization to the top.

Who was your favorite player and NFL team growing up?

My favorite player growing up was Marshall Faulk and his team, the St. Louis Rams.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

My dad, Lebron James, and Martin Luther King Jr.
