What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
Football is something I’ve always loved. I knew I either wanted to be a football player or basketball player but as I grew older my love for football outgrew my love for basketball.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
First one would be my first ever touchdown in a game during my first ever season playing when I was 6 years old. Second would be during high school when I played in a NFL stadium for the first time and won the game. My last memory I would say has to be from this year’s game against Mines, where I had clutch catches for my team.
What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?
I want to play in the ultimately play in the NFL and have a career in football.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?
Probably would say Ja’Marr Chase, because he is my favorite receiver in the league.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
I would say my dad, because of the leader and man he is.
What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?
I would say a dagger concept, because it can beat most coverages.
What should we know about Nathan Lewis Jr the person?
I love to compete, even the simplest things I will compete over.
What stands out about your film the most?
My ability to consistently create separation.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
Pray to god about any challenges I have first and then face them head on.
What would a team get in a player like you?
A team will be getting a consistent hardworking asset to their team. Great athlete, smart player.
What do you love the most about the game of football?
Everyone has to be together on the same page for everything to go right and to win.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
One of my friends I played with in high school, was a very good receiver but never really got a shot to prove what he could do.
