Jayden Daniels Injury Update: How Serious is the Dislocated Left Elbow?
Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels suffered another dislocated left elbow Sunday afternoon against the Dallas Cowboys, creating immediate concern because it is the same elbow he injured during the 2025 season.
Daniels was injured on the final play of the first half. After taking the snap near the Dallas goal line, Daniels appeared to have his foot stepped on by left guard Chris Paul. As he stumbled, Daniels reached out with his left arm to brace himself, and the elbow appeared to bend awkwardly underneath him.
Daniels immediately showed significant pain and eventually had to be carted from the field.
After the game, Commanders head coach Dan Quinn confirmed that Daniels suffered a dislocated left elbow. Initial X-rays did not reveal a fracture, but Daniels will undergo additional imaging Monday to determine the full extent of the injury.
