2027 NFL Draft Way-Too-Early Wide Receiver Rankings

1.Jeremiah Smith : Ohio State
Jeremiah Smith draft has finally arrived. Ever since high school Jeremiah has been the next great Wide Receiver prospect, #1 player in the country, and proved everyone right. Throughout his freshman and sophomore year, he has had 163 catches for 2,558 yards and 27 touchdowns. Additionally, he had one of the best playoff performances we will ever see, and led Ohio State to a National Championship. What separates JJ from everyone else is his physical dominance, at 6’3″ 225 pounds, paired with his 4.3 speed makes him dominant at the catch point. He can do everything on the field, and is undoubtedly the best player in this class, and possibly the best WR prospect we will ever see.
2. Cam Coleman : Texas
The former Auburn Tiger made the transfer to Join Arch Manning in Austin this offseason. Coleman, being the #2 WR in the 2024 class behind Smith, had 8 touchdowns as a true freshman. In his sophomore year, Coleman was cursed with bad Quarterback play, but still managed to have 708 yards and 5 touchdowns. Being a lengthy 6’3″ 200 pound receiver, he has a huge catch radius and thrives in contested catch scenarios. Being Texas WR1 and the best in the SEC, expect Cam Coleman to fulfill his potential and have a monster year.
3. KJ Duff : Rutgers
Duff is one of the rarest prospects ever in terms of size at 6’6″ 225. Being at Rutgers his whole career, the sophomore had 60 catches for 1,080 yards and 7 touchdowns in 2025. Duff uses his size in the perfect way, to moss defensive backs, and make unreal catches as we saw vs Penn State. In terms of speed, it is not his best trait, and doesn’t have speed flashes after the catch. As a separator, he lacks the speed and acceleration to have elite separation like the faster guys on this list, but his large catch radius can make up for it. He made a questioning choice not transferring to a better school this year, but his loyalty to Rutgers shows strong character.
4. Duce Robinson : Florida State
Robinson is another 6’6″ 220 receiver on this list. The former 5 star was the number 1 tight end recruit in the class of 2023, then made the switch to Wide Receiver in the summer of his true freshman year. In his first 2 years at USC, he had a combined total of 39 catches, 747 yards and 7 touchdowns. After his sophomore year he transferred over to FSU, where he had 56 catches, 1,081 yards and 6 touchdowns. Robinson is a very fluid and athletic player, who can take the top off defenses on vertical routes. He thrives in balls down field, and has an elite catch radius. Entering his senior year, Robinson is the main target on the entire team, and will prove to be one of the best pass catchers in the country.
5. Ryan Coleman Williams : Alabama
The Alabama freshman phenom had a decline in his sophomore year, only having 689 yards and 4 touchdowns, and leading FBS in drops. His freshman year, he showed crazy promise and potential, being only 17 as a freshman and making insane game winning catches. Being slightly undersized at 6’0″ 178, Williams strengths come from his speed and ability to get open on any route. With the QB situation still not confirmed, Williams will need to be a difference maker for that offense, especially with their run game struggling. He’s got style, speed and electricity in his game, he just needs his confidence back to bring his freshman year self back.
6. Mario Craver : Texas A&M
Craver is going into 2026 as one of the fastest players in the country. Transferring to Texas A&M from Mississippi State, he broke out in 2025 with 900 yards and 4 touchdowns. Cravers speed gives him the ability to be an elite deep threat, and dangerous in the quick screen game. His size limits his physicality, at 5’9″ 165, but his speed can make up for it in some circumstances. Cravers potential is through the roof, and with a talented Texas A&M team, he will make a huge impact and continue to get better.
7. Wyatt Young : Oklahoma State
Young has a rare trait that we don’t see in WRs often, physicality after the catch, flat out running them over as well as making them miss. The North Texas transfer was third in the entire country in receiving yards with 1,264 and had 13 touchdowns. Coming over to Oklahoma State along side Eric Morris, Mestemaker and Hawkins, OKST has a explosive offense with Young in a great position. Young’s build is very compact at 6’0″ 200, and he is very strong in the lower body. The lack of competition that he played at North Texas is concerning, but his explosiveness and physicality as a runner makes him special.
8. Nick Marsh : Indiana
The Michigan State transfer decided to move over to the former National Champs, and alongside Becker and Hoover, they have another dangerous offense. Marsh is a bigger prospect, at 6’3″ 205, and like Young, is physical after the catch and breaks through arms tackles. Marsh has legit speed, and consistent route running, but has a 9% drop rate over the last 2 seasons. Marsh has loads of potential, and being at a great school like Indiana is a great spot for him to develop, as he will only turn 20 in October.
9. Charlie Becker : Indiana
The National Champ had a crazy run in the second half of the season, becoming Mendoza’s go to jump ball guy. Becker did not receive any time his freshman year, then was behind 2 talented draft picks in Sarrat and Cooper Jr. In his sophomore year, he had 34 catches for 679 yards and 4 touchdowns, and proved to be an elite contested catch threat. Becker is 6’4″ 208 pounds, and has a large catch radius. The sophomore is an exciting player to watch, and with a full season of being a top target, he will be a great threat for Josh Hoover in that offense.
10. Omarion Miller : Arizona State
Miller is coming over from Colorado, where he spent three seasons with Prime Time. His junior year, he had 45 catches for 808 yards and 8 touchdowns. Miller is build thick and strong at 6’2″ 210, and can win jump balls and catches in traffic. Following in Jordyn Tysons footsteps, Miller has a chance to possibly make ASU the new WR factory.
