Green Bay Packers vs Chicago Bears – Battle For The NFC North – NFL Week 16 Preview & Prediction

Caleb Williams, Ben Johnson and the Chicago Bears face Jordan Love, Matt LaFleur and the Green Bay Packers in the biggest game of the year in the NFC North. The winner will very likely win the division and be the number 2 seed in the NFL Playoffs.

One of the biggest differences in this game will be the availability of star players as the Micah Parsons injury was devastating, he’d been dominant the whole year and now with the Christian Watson injury, they may not have their best receiver as well, who caught 2 Touchdown pass in their first matchup.

The Tucker Kraft injury and Devonte Wyatt injury also has Green Bay playing without two of their best players in key positions the rest of the year, a huge looming question remains, are they still Super Bowl contenders, but more importantly right now, can they beat the Bears ? Injuries have plagued Chicago as well, the Kyler Gordon injury placed one of the best nickel corners in the league on IR, Tremaine Edmunds has missed most of the year but is slated to return this week, the Luther Burden injury and Rome Odunze injury also present potential problems as they could be without both after Odunze missed the last 2 games.

The Bears running game behind Joe Thuney, Jonah Jackson and Drew Dalman has been spectacular, Kyle Monangai has been a rookie sensation and D’Andre Swift likely eclipses 1,000 yards rushing Saturday night. DJ Moore having his best game of the season came at a critical time they’ll need him and Colston Loveland to be at their best. The Packers got a nice boost from their rookie Matthew Golden a week ago, look for his role to increase, meanwhile Josh Jacobs who was phenomenal in the first matchup, is playing at an All-Pro level, he killed the Bears a week ago. Rashan Gary, Edgerrin Cooper, Quay Walker and Keisean will be heavily relied upon to limit the Bears high powered offense. Montez Sweat and Austin Booker are pivotal in getting pressure on Love, the team that can effect the quarterback more in this game has a great chance to win as it may come down to a few key third downs.
