Pittman’s Pocket: FBU Tampa team tryouts went well

The FBU Tampa tryouts were held in North St. Petersburg under the leadership of Coach BJ Hall and staff. The event showcased young talent across multiple age groups, providing an opportunity for players to compete, develop, and learn under elite guidance.
The FBU coaching staff was well prepared, ensuring proper water breaks, structured drills, and thorough tryout evaluations. Players from the TBYFL league and ELITE leagues were in attendance, bringing strong competition and energy to the field.
Attendance was strong, with around 150 players, if not slightly more, taking part. The depth of coaching experience on hand helped maximize player development, and the high level of play resulted in multiple invites to the National Championship Tournament.
A special thank you goes to Coach Matthew Kitchel, who worked in detail with the 6U, 7U, and 8U defensive linemen, giving them valuable instruction and confidence-building reps.
