Former SDSU football star and Nephew of Junior Seau charged with murder

Micah Seau, 31, the nephew of former Chargers legend Junior Seau is accused of selling deadly drugs to his friend last year that resulted in his death.
According to the report, San Diego State football player plead not guilty to murder and other charges in connection with the sale of fentanyl pills that led to a fatal overdose.
Seau, 31, the nephew of 12-time Pro Bowl linebacker Junior Seau, was one of two people charged on suspicion of murder and conspiracy to commit a crime. The other charged in the crime was Sheri Cavanaugh, 59 who also plead not guilty.
Seau is suspected of purchasing $1,200 worth of fentanyl pills from Cavanaugh in La Mesa on May 31, 2023. Seau then allegedly sold the pills to 31-year-old Connor Gerhart, his former teammate in Pop Warner football.
Gerhart took the pills and overdosed. He was found dead by a family friend.
Please keep the Gerhart family and Seau in your prayers. It does not feel that Seau had the intentions of killing his friend. It sounds like they both had a problem, this is so sad.
