Idaho State football coach DaVonte’ Neal arrested and charged with a murder from 2017 in Arizona

Idaho State football coach Davonte’ Neal was arrested yesterday on a warrant out of Maricopa County in Arizona.
Neal the Idaho State defensive backs coach was booked on charges that include first degree murder and drive-by shooting in connection with a November 2017 death of Bryan Burns.
Neal was a great football player who signed with Notre Dame out of college and would spend the 2012 season with the Fighting Irish before transferring to the University of Arizona.
In 2013, he transferred to Arizona and redshirted. The next season, he played in 13 games for the Wildcats and caught 27 passes for 214 yards and two touchdowns.
Before the 2015 season, he switched to cornerback and racked up 63 tackles and an interception.
This is a wild story, we will be keeping an eye on it as we move forward.
