DeZhaun Stribling Injury Update: 49ers rookie to miss a month
San Francisco 49ers rookie wide receiver De’Zhaun Stribling had a scary moment during the team’s season-opening victory over the Los Angeles Rams, and the initial video immediately raised concerns about a potentially serious lower-leg injury.
Stribling suffered the injury without contact while running a route. He was unable to put weight on his left leg and eventually had to be carted off the field.
That immediately led to questions about whether the 49ers had lost their highly touted rookie for an extended period.
