The New England Patriots suffered a major blow in their season opener when star wide receiver A.J. Brown went down with a right ankle injury against the Seattle Seahawks.
Brown was injured in the third quarter when Seahawks cornerback Nehemiah Pritchett’s knee landed on his ankle, forcing the veteran receiver to leave the game. Brown initially tried to walk off the field before heading to the medical tent and eventually the locker room.
