There is a different kind of football player who travels through the junior-college ranks.

He has already faced adversity. He has had to earn another opportunity. He has learned that size, talent and potential are only the beginning. Before the stadium lights, before the HBCU band strikes up, and before an NFL scout writes a name into a notebook, there is often a JUCO field where the next opportunity is earned.

Pittman’s Pocket HBCU Junior College All-Americans recognizes that pathway.

This honor roll celebrates the athletes identified as potential impact players making the transition from junior college football to Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The list is organized by position and records the player’s JUCO program, physical profile and HBCU destination.

Measurements and affiliations below are transcribed primarily from the submitted Pittman’s Pocket scouting sheets. Where the handwriting did not clearly provide a measurement, the field is marked “Not listed.”
