What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Just being younger seeing my older brothers play and it just gave me excitement every time I saw it, so once I got out there it was the same feeling.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

My favorite moments are when I was in little league and I won 5 rings in a row, another moment is when I won a championship ring in college it was very different. And lastly my favorite moment is just getting to where I am today knowing what I came from.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

I would say my big brother Jermaine Wimpye, because we always stuck with football our whole life and even though there were a lot of distractions, he made sure my head stayed focused and locked in every day.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

I love the intensity of the game and how at any moment of the game things can change so you always have to be ready.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

I would say Jalen Ramsey. I feel like we got close to the same personality and he’s a hall of famer in my eyes.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I’m looking to be the best player at my position and I want to make sure that my family is stable and never have to work again.

What should we know about Justin Wimpye the person?

I’m a hardworking, super competitive person that’s ready to dominate the next level with any chance I get.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

4-2-5 nickel because more defensive backs are on the field and I get to play in more than one spot on the field like nickel or corner.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I pray to God and push through both on and off the field because you don’t want to get stuck in the same spot from a challenge.

What would a team get in a player like you?

They would get a relentless high IQ player that comes everyday to work and gets better everyday and be the best version of myself everyday.

What stands out about your film the most?

You can tell from my film that I do a lot of film study and my footwork; I have great footwork.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Dayne Hodge, I would say this because he was a great hard working guy and a good football player that just got overlooked.
